Early Life
Actor Shah Rukh Khan was born in New Delhi, India. His father, Taj Mohammad Khan, and mother, Lateef Fatima Khan. His parents were of Muslim Pathan descent in New Delhi, India, and his father was of Afghan descent.
Khan’s father died of cancer at the age of 15, and his mother died in 1990. His parent’s loss is a tough test for her at such a young age helping him be diligent. He then enrolled at St. Columba’s School in Delhi, where he excelled in sports drama and academics.
Hansraj College holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from 1995 to 1998, and a master’s degree in communications from Jamia Millia Islamia. He also studied at the National School of Drama in Delhi.
