Solana Imani Rowe(SZA) was born on 8 October 1990 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Her father was a CNN executive producer, and her mother was an AT&T executive. SZA’s mother was a Christian, and her father was a Muslim.
She has Tiffany Daniels as a step-sister and Daniel as an older brother. She has grown up as a Muslim since childhood. She was interested in music since her childhood and used to sing.

SZA released its first EP on 19th October 2012, under the title “See.SZA.Run”. The following year Rowe released her second EP titled “S.” The same year, Rowe toured with the Swedish band Little Dragon.
